Also cut ribbon on new Lockport office
The Niagara County Department of Employment & Training will host a “Pop Up” job fair on Monday, June 12 at the Civil Defense Building in Lockport. This will coincide with the official opening of the new Lockport office of Employment & Training as well.
“A pop job fair is a scaled down version of our larger events with just a few employers who have immediate positions to fill,” said Don Jablonski, Director of Employment & Training. “We thought this event was the perfect way to recognize the opening of our new office in the Civil Defense Building because we are all about helping job-seekers find employment.”
The job fair will run from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Civil Defense Building, 139 Niagara St. in Lockport. Participating businesses include Rubberform, Venture Forthe, Niagara County and Elderwood at Lockport.
Jablonski said a short ribbon cutting ceremony opening the office will precede the job fair at 1:30.
