Adeline Colucci, 99, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 16, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of late Francesco and Maria Giuseppe (Cubello) Antonacci.
Adeline was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She grew up in the Como Restaurant in Niagara Falls, which was established by her father. She was a co-proprietor working alongside her husband and brothers for many years. The family also owns the Como Restaurant at the Airport and the former Goose’s Roost Restaurant in Niagara Falls. Adeline was a true matriarch of her family’s businesses for over 80 years working into her mid-90s alongside her sons and many other family members through the years. Spending time with her family was one of the most important things to Adeline. If she wasn’t at work with her family, she loved playing Gin with her sons and attending sporting events. The Yankees were her favorite!
Adeline is survived by her children, Frank (Catherine) Colucci and Dominic Colucci, Jr.; grandchildren, Cara Gardner, Kimberly Colucci (Dave Sousa), Dominic Colucci III, and Christopher Colucci; and great-grandson Tyler Gardner; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Dominic A. Colucci, Sr., siblings Mario (late Theresa) Antonacci, and Nick (late Alice) Antonacci.
Visitation will be Monday, May 22 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Adeline’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12:00 Noon in St. Joseph’s Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Please assemble at Church. Entombment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine or Niagara Hospice.
