On April 23, 2023 at 12:17 am, Troopers out of SP Lockport arrested Benjamin Macdonald, 40 of North Tonawanda, NY for Driving while Intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic infractions.
On April 23, 2023, Troopers stopped Macdonald on Lockport Ave in the town of Wheatfield for a traffic infraction. While interviewing Macdonald, an odor of alcoholic beverage was present. Macdonald was placed under arrest after failing multiple SFSTs and transported to SP Lockport for processing. Macdonald had a reportable BAC of .10%.
Macdonald was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Wheatfield court for a later date in May 2023.
