On April 5, 2023, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Robert C. Lang., 47, of Depew, NY, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Criminal Trespass 2nd.
Troopers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Crittenden, in the town of Newstead. During the interview with operator Lang, he was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Lang had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. Lang had failed standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested and transported to SP Clarence where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) from the New York State Police. Lang was released with appearance tickets for the town of Newstead court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
