Rosann Patricia was born on Tuesday, September 4, 1956 in Syracuse, New York to MaryLou (nee Wells) and George Schmelzer. She was a steel worker at Vesuvius in Lackawanna, New York.
Rosann was the loving companion of Bob Szywala. A devoted mother of Don Battaglia, Billy (Courtney) Battaglia and Eric (Morgan) Battaglia. Dear step mother of Andrew Szywala and Katie (Jesus Bonilla) Szywala.
Loving grandmother of Arya, EJ, Isla, Jaylee, Jensen, Jaminsen, Jinalyz and Jedisen
Dearest sister of Bob (Debbie) Schmelzer, George (Lisa) Schmelzer and Jamie Schmelzer.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
