On March 21, 2023, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation stationed at SP Clarence arrested Joshua A. Roman, 27 of Buffalo, NY for Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance (C Felony), Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D Felony) and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony).
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Clarence with the assistance from the Troop A Computer Crimes Unit, conducted an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation in the city of Buffalo. Investigation determined Roman possessed child pornography and was disseminating child pornography.
Investigation also determined that Roman was in possession of child pornography with himself in the pictures/videos with children. Roman was remanded to city of Buffalo Central Booking for centralized arraignment.
