PHILADELPHIA — Owen Tippett scored his first NHL hat trick for the Philadelphia Flyers in a 5-2 win against the Buffalo Sabres at Wells Fargo Center on Friday.

Victor Olofsson scored twice, and Craig Anderson made 17 saves for the Sabres. The Sabres are now 33-29-6 after having dropped eight of their past 10 games.

The Sabres next play the Boston Bruins at 1 p.m. Sunday.
