Stanley R. Dikcis, 36, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away March 10, 2023. Born in Amherst, NY on July 5, 1986, he was the son of Robert S. and Gricela ‘Gigi’ Dikcis.

Stan was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School. He proudly served in the United States Army until becoming injured in the line of duty after two years of dedication. Following his honorable discharge, he was awarded the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Campaign Star, National Service Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and the Combat Action Badge. Stan enjoyed spending time with his friends he grew up with, as well as working on cars.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Robert Stanley Dikcis, Randolph Michael Cannuli, Thomas Anthony Cannuli, US Army, and Robert Alan Dikcis; and his nephew, Maxwell A. Dikcis-Brown. He was sadly predeceased by his brother, SPC Alan N. Dikcis, US Army, who died during active duty in Afghanistan.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 20 from 2 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services and Military honors will follow at 7:00 PM. Interment will be held privately in the Western New York National Veteran’s Cemetery, Corfu, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to the Western New York Heroes, Inc. at wnyheroes.org
