On February 20, 2023, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Lockport arrested Leon M. Robert, 24 of Buffalo, NY for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree (C Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Stolen Property 3rd degree (D Felony).
On February 18, 2023, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) received a complaint from West Herr Honda Dealership in the town of Lockport. Investigation determined that eight stolen tires and rims were taken from vehicles. Investigators working with West Herr management found a listing on Facebook Marketplace with the tires and rims. The BCI set up a buy in the city of Buffalo for the stolen items. Leon was located at the buy and arrested for the stolen tires and rims. Leon had a Springfield Armory, model 911 pistol in his possession and does not have a pistol permit. Leon was transported to SP Buffalo and processed then taken to the City of Buffalo Central Booking to be arraigned later in February.
