Today is the last day voters in New York State can change their party affiliation before the June primary elections. Any voter can hand deliver a party enrollment change directly to their local board of elections. Find more information from the Board of Elections here.
“Common Cause/NY is spreading the love, and reminding New York’s registered voters they have an upcoming deadline to switch party enrollment if they’d like to. Reminder, a person must be registered in a political party in order to vote in their primary election. We encourage any registered voter that would like to change their party to take advantage of the new deadline,” said Susan Lerner, executive director of Common Cause/NY.
All WNY is made possible thanks to coffee and sleep deprivation.
