BUFFALO, NY – Joe Glamos (Baldwinsville, NY/New Jersey Titans) and Andrew Logar (Niagara Falls, NY/Corpus Christi Ice Rays), both from the men’s hockey team, have been named Bengal Athletes of the Week for their respective performances this past weekend.
Glamos, a sophomore electrical engineering major, tallied two goals and two assists in the team’s victories over Alvernia University on Friday and Saturday. Glamos has now registered five goals, nine assists, and 14 points on the season. He is also currently third on the team in goals, and tied for second in assists, and tied for third in points.
Logar, a graduate-student business major, tallied his first goal of the season along with three assists between the two games with Alvernia. His first assist came on Friday to even the score at 1-1 before the Bengals took the lead and never looked back. On Saturday, Logar found two more assists while his goal sealed the victory for the Bengals.
The men’s hockey team returns to action tomorrow night as they travel to King’s College for a non-conference matchup with puck drop set for 8:15 pm.
