SYRACUSE, NY –Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Dells Ducks) of the Buffalo State men’s hockey team has been named the SUNYAC Goalie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. This is the second time that the award has been bestowed on him after also earning the recognition after the first week of the season.

Norrman backstopped Buffalo State to a 2-0 week with a pair of non-conference victories over Alvernia University on Friday and Saturday. The senior goaltender posted a .953 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average for the weekend, stopping 61 of 64 shots on goal in the two games. On Friday night, Norrman made 33 saves in a 5-2 Buffalo State victory, and followed that performance up by stopping 28 of 29 shots in a 5-1 Bengals’ win on Saturday.
