Denise E. Dean, 45, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on December 24, 2022 at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Marietta, OH, she was the daughter of Jerry L. and Sharon L. (Howland) Dean.
Denise was baptized in West Virginia, and came to the area with her family as a child in the early 1980’s. She was a graduate of Lockport High School. Denise worked in cleaning at Niagara University, at the McDonald’s Restaurant in Lewiston, and most recently was active with GuildCare. Denise was a member of the Wilson Auxiliary Fire Company, the Rivershore Bowling Club, Aktion Club, and SABAH. Denise loved bowling, going to the movies, going out to eat, swimming and dancing. She also loved traveling to Disney World, where she visited 18 times. Above all, she cherished her time spent with her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, Denise is survived by her siblings, Richard (Patti) Wickham, Rodney Wickham, Gerri Lynn (Mike) Conway, and Dianna (Jerry) White; 10 nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles her godparents, Edward and Joann Seefeldt, as well as many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Herman and Eva Howland, paternal grandparents, Edward and Felice Dean, and her godparents, James and Sharon Monroe.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6 from 1 – 3 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 3 PM.
