Richard E. ‘Rich’ Shepherd, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 24, 2022 at his residence.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Clifford and Frances (Clendenan) Shepherd.

Rich was a proud veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in the late 1950s. On June 30, 1962, he married the love of his life, Audrey M. (Stockings) Shepherd. Rich was employed by General Motors Corp. in Tonawanda, NY as a laborer until his retirement.

In his free time, Rich enjoyed fishing as well as hunting deer and pheasant during the season. A true Western New Yorker, he was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Rich enjoyed many getaway trips to Virginia Beach with family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his loved ones during the holidays.

In addition to his loving wife, Rich is survived by his children, Robert (Patricia) Shepherd, Tina Smith, and Tammy (Shawn) Smith; his grandchildren, Joseph Shepherd, Tiffany Shepherd, Nicholas (Roselyn) Shepherd and Christina (Michael) Filler; his great-grandchildren, Serenity, Phoebe, and Leland; his siblings, Curtiss (Deen) Shepherd, Roland Shepherd, Sherry (Jim) Corulli; his nephew, Keith, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rich was predeceased by his brothers, Charles (late Kathleen) Shepherd and Glenn Shepherd.

Private interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, at the convenience of the family.
