On July 8, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Earl J. Perry., 46, of Sheldon, NY, for felony Driving While Intoxicated-Previous Conviction Within Ten Years.
During a traffic stop on State Route 78 in the town of Java, Perry was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Perry had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. Perry had failed standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested and processed at SP Warsaw, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.23% BAC. Perry was released with appearance tickets for the town of Java court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
