On July 7, 2022, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Dave H. Allen., 40, of Buffalo, NY, for felony Driving While Intoxicated-previous conviction within ten years and Aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first.
During a traffic stop on Transit Road in the town of East Amherst, Allen was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Allen had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. Allen had failed standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested, transported and processed at SP Clarence, where he refused to submit a chemical test. Allen was released with appearance tickets for the town of Clarence court, where he is due to appear at a later date.
