All WNY voters suggest spending the day after Easter in church — specifically Corpus Christi Church, which resumes its annual Dyngus Day celebration.
Beginning with Easter Monday Mass at 11:30 a.m., the church, the church then kicks into a pre-parade celebration with kid-friendly games and activities and DJ RED the polka DJ. Following the parade, the festivities get more adult friendly with live music, Polish food and beer.
Daytime activities are free, while nighttime festivities cost $15 (or free with the Pussy Willow Pass).
Corpus Christi beat out 11 other WNY-area Dyngus Day events for the title.
As with all ALL WNY Awards winners, Corpus Christi will be offered $50 in free advertising on All WNY.
The next All WNY Award up for a vote is Best Record Store, starting Monday. Also beginning Monday are nominations for Best Book Store.
