On February 12, 2022, SP Olean Troopers arrested Toby S. Smith, 49, of Olean, NY for Driving While Intoxicated and Refusal to Take a Breath Test.
During a traffic stop on State Route 16 in the city of Olean, Troopers observed Smith exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication. Troopers determined Smith had been operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. Smith was arrested and transported to SP Olean, where he refused to submit to a chemical breath test.
Smith was released with appearance tickets for Olean City Court, where he is due to appear in March.
