On January 19, 2022, SP Olean Troopers arrested Andrew S. Nelson, 29, of Allegany, NY, Forgery 2nd Degree and Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree.
Troopers investigating a complaint of checks being forged in the town of Allegany determined Nelson was the suspect.
Nelson was arrested and released with appearance tickets for Allegany Town Court, where he is due to appear in February.
