Cassie L. Costanzo, 39, of Tonawanda NY, passed away on Thursday December 30, 2021, after fighting a long battle with mental illness. Born in Lewiston, NY, she was the daughter of Joseph D. and Karen A. (Custode) Costanzo.

Cassie was a graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in hospitality at Buffalo State College. After graduating college, she worked as a banquet manager before starting her own catering business which allowed her to not only be home with her two sons but pass along her love for cooking and baking to them. She was a loving, caring mother and was always outgoing and energetic. She was also an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan and loved watching the games with her sons. Cassie wanted nothing more than to be a good mom to her boys and worked hard to fight her illness. Cassie is now at peace and will be deeply missed by all.

In addition to her parents, Cassie is survived by her loving children, Vincent and Leonard, who always put the sparkle in her eyes; her sister, Sara (Chris) Schiro, her niece and nephew, maternal grandmother, Antoinette (late Leonard) Custode, as well as by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29 from 1 – 3 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 3 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Cassie’s name to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation in Cassie’s name (bbrfoundation.org).  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
