Barker Lions sponsor a loan closet of medical supplies for those who cannot afford them. Recently, the members met to reorganize and inventory what is available. In addition to walkers and canes. There are a variety sizes of wheelchairs, commodes, and shower chairs.
There also are hospital beds and bed tables. Barker Lions own a number of wheelchair lifts that can be installed outside of homes in the Barker School District.
