On August 16th, 2020, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Raeanne Hoffman, 39, of Erie, PA, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. 

The Troopers and New York State Parks Police responded to I-86 for a report of a vehicle driving erratically in the eastbound lane. The responding units located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop after observing multiple traffic violations. The Troopers placed Hoffman under arrest after she failed several SFSTs. Hoffman was transported to SP Jamestown where she was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of a Central Nervous System Depressant. A blood sample was secured from Hoffman at UPMC Hospital and Hoffman was returned to SP Jamestown for processing. Hoffman was released with tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Salamanca Court later in the month.
