On May 1, 2020, SP Fillmore Troopers arrested Brandan M. Schmitz, 20, of Porter, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.
On May 1, 2020, SP Fillmore Troopers arrested Brandan M. Schmitz, 20, of Porter, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.
Troopers investigated a report of a male drinking alcohol in a vehicle in the parking lot of a business on State Route 243 in the town of Rushford. They determined Schmitz had been operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Schmitz was then arrested and transported to SP Fillmore, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.08% BAC.
Schmitz was released with appearance tickets for Rushford Town Court, where he is due to appear in June.
