All WNY had a tough decision to make. Even after allowing an extra day for voting, our April calendar contest was stuck in a tie. The candidates: Niamh Gardner’s photo of painted Easter Eggs from the Broadway Market or Erin Burke’s photo of Niagara Falls. Sadly, there could be only one.
While Burke’s Niagara Falls photo was no-doubt beautiful, we decided that Gardner’s Broadway Market Easter eggs were a more fitting selection for April.
While Gardner’s main prize is bragging rights, she will also be given $50 and a dozen All WNY 2020 calendars.
A shoutout again to Brian Fose’s, whose flapping waterfowl had actually gotten the most likes for the month, but Fose had already won the month of January and rules dictate that a photographer can only win one month.
