JAMESTOWN — A 22-year-old Bemus Point man was charged Sunday with second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop.

According to New York State Police, Jonathan Telschow was pulled over on Route 430 for traffic violations and while speaking to Telschow, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.  A search of Telschow and his vehicle revealed five bags containing marijuana.  Telschow was issued an appearance ticket and traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court later in the month.
