Isidra Lucille Timkey of Lockport, NY. With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother and grandmother, who went to be with her Lord on July 31st, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born May 15, 1925 in Rockdale, TX, she was the daughter of Marcello and Juana Hernandez Garcia. After graduating, Lucille joined the family restaurant business, “Big John’s”. In 1949, she married her late husband, William R. Timkey, Sr. and they moved to Lockport. In 1986, Lucille retired from General Motors after 30 years. She continued to work under Rural Opportunities as an interpreter for Migrant Ministry and Clinic, Head Start of Olcott and for the local court system. Longtime member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, she belonged to All Saints Parish, Local 686 and formerly, Pocahontas of the Lockport Sequa Council 177.

Lucille is predeceased by husband, William R. Timkey, Sr. and infant son, Stephen Charles Timkey. She is survived by seven children, Frances (Kevin) McCoy, Betty (Peter) Sharkey, William, Jr. (Rosemarie), James (Dotti), John (Doris), Nancy (Richard) Agostini and Laurie McRae; 19 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren and special niece, Victoria (Frank) Mireles.

Friends may call on Sunday 2-6 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday August 5 at 10 AM at All Saints Parish, 76 Church St. Entombment in Glenwood Cemetery.
