PADILLA-ANDAYA – Aurora Of Lackawanna, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving daughter Maria Rita Andaya, MD and her granddaughter Mary Sheryl Grace Realce on the morning of July 16, 2019, on the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. She is the beloved wife of the late Major Prudencio Andaya, Philippine Army; devoted mother of Maria Adelaida Realce (late Rogelio); Raymund (Michelle) Andaya; Bishop Prudencio Andaya, Jr., CICM; Michael (Bernadette) Andaya; Maria Rita Andaya, MD and Eduard (Jenny) Andaya; cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 14 great-granchildren; loving daughter of the late Nicomedes and Adelaida Padilla; also survived by many relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Sunday from 2-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Monday morning at 10:30 o’clock. (Please assemble at church).

Interment will be held in Tabuk City, Philippines. Aurora had boundless energy, a great sense of humor and a gentle and kind spirit. She was proud of her family and will always be remembered for her generosity, grace, love for people, endless courage and resilience.
