BRINKEL – Robert J. Of Colden, NY entered into rest July 18, 2019. Beloved husband and best friend of 46 years to Sharon (nee Stoyle) Brinkel; loving son of the late George and Audrey Brinkel; dear brother of Madonna (late Thomas) O’Brien and Paul (late Sandra) Brinkel; also survived by other family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna Monday July 22nd at 9:15 AM. No prior visitation. Arrangements by Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel). Robert was in the Green Beret Special Forces. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Parkinson’s Association.
