THEXTON – Margaret A. “Peg” (nee Parkinson) of South Buffalo and Kissimmee FL, entered into rest July 16, 2019, peacefully after a brief illness at age 78. Best friend and beloved husband of 59 years to Roger P. Thexton; devoted mother of Patty (Joe) Sullivan, Tom Thexton and Cathy O’Hanrahan; loving grandmother of Ray (Katie) Sullivan, Maggie (Joe) Mihalics, Joey (Jess) Sullivan, Kelsie Sullivan, Ashley O’Hanrahan and Cailey O’Hanrahan; cherished great-grandma Disney to Matty, Lucas and Maeve Mihalics, Claire and Brady Sullivan; loving daughter of the late Robert and Catherine Parkinson; dear sister of Bob (Colleen) Parkinson, Pat (Joe) Eisenhauer, John (Barb) Parkinson and the late Mary (late Harold) Leverentz and late Jim (Kim) Parkinson; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Friday from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site), 65 Ridgewood Rd., Buffalo, on Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock (please assemble at church). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Peg worked many years at OLV admissions and upon retirement, worked as a cast member at Disney World.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Buffalo in Peg’s memory.
