Buffalo State’s Liv LeBaron (Corning/Corning East) was named the SUNYAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second-consecutive week.

The junior physical therapy major averaged 30.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in a pair of games last week.  LeBaron netted 23 points with five rebounds and four assists in a 79-49 win over Alfred State on Wednesday, and then had 37 points, 13 rebounds and two steals in an 80-76 loss at Fredonia on Saturday.  It marked the second time LeBaron has scored 37 points in a game, which is the second-most ever scored by a Buffalo State player in a game, just two points shy of the school record.

LeBaron leads the SUNYAC, averaging 22.3 points-per-game and ranks fifth in the league averaging 9.1 rebounds.

LeBaron and the Bengals will host Oswego and Cortland for a pair of SUNYAC games this Friday and Saturday respectively.
