Men’s Meet Notes

• The men last competed against Waterloo, defeating the Warriors, 105-100.
• The relay team of Dominykas Intas, Nicolas Winograd, Edgar Melchor and Nick Rogers won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:35.96.
• Dalton Stier placed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:46.56. Rogers placed second in the same event with a time of 1:47.14.
• Intas was a double individual winner. He placed first in the 50 free (21.49) and the 100 free (46.97).
• Andreas Rintel took first place in the 200 IM with a time of 1:57.76 and Winograd placed second with a time of 2:01.01.
• Winograd placed first in the 100 breast (59.13) and Melchor placed second (59.75).

• The men’s team finished third overall at last season’s Zippy Invite with 1,197 points.

• In their last outing, the Purple Eagles were defeated by Waterloo, 104-98.
• Avery Sanquist won the 1000 free with a time of 10:48.71. Delaney LaBue placed second in the event with a time of 11:33.02.
• Sanquist placed second in the 200 free with a time of 1:59.99 and second in the 500 free with a time of 5:13.33.
• Hannah Charlton took first in the 200 IM, finishing the event in 2:16.29. She placed second in the 100 fly with a time of 59.72.
• Hayley Tasselmyer won the 100 free with a time of 54.70. She finished second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:08.74.
• Isabella DeSimone took second in the 100 back (1:02.67).
• The relay team of DeSimone., Lauren Hume, Lauren Nicastro and LaBue won the 200 free relay with a time of 1:41.75.

• The women’s team placed ninth at last season’s Zippy Invite with a total of 297 points.

• Niagara hosts crosstown rival Canisius on Jan. 19, with events slated to start at 12:00 p.m.
