A 27-year-old Wellsville man was charged with DWI and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on November 27, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.
According to New York State Troopers, during an investigation of a vehicle off the road on Wolf Springs Road in the town of Scio, officers observed that Devan R. Wilson was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. He was arrested and transported to SP Amity, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.15% BAC. During the arrest, Wilson was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana.
Wilson was released with appearance tickets for Scio Town Court, where he is due to return in December.
