BUFFALO, N.Y. — The United Soccer Coaches announced the 2018 NCAA Division III Men’s All-East Region Teams and Buffalo State’s Theo Pencic (Oslo, Norway/Heltberg) was named a member of the second team after leading the Bengals in scoring this season.
Pencic, a first-year striker, finished the season with 11 goals in just 13 games played, leading the SUNYAC in goals-per-game at 0.85. Pencic netted four game-winning goals and tallied a pair of hat tricks in wins over Fredonia and Alfred University.
Pencic has also garnered SUNYAC Rookie of the Year honors to pair with a selection into all-conference first team.
