OLEAN – On October 26, 2018, SP Olean Troopers charged Cody V. Butler, 35, of Port Allegany, PA with Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test, and several traffic violations.
During a traffic stop on Barnum Road in the town of Olean, Troopers observed that Butler was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. He was arrested and transported to SP Olean, where he refused to submit to a chemical breath test.
Butler was arraigned in Olean Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due to return to Olean Town Court in November.
