A 30-year-old Mayville woman was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and a 27-year-old Ashville man was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument on October 13, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

According to New York State Troopers, Christopher Hewes was pulled over on Route 394 in Randolph for a traffic violation and placed under arrest after a check of Hewes’ license revealed three suspensions. An inventory of Hewes’ vehicle revealed a bag containing one gram of heroin, four hypodermic needles, a partial suboxone strip, a bag containing marijuana and a smoking device containing marijuana residue. Ashley Senko was also placed under arrest and both she and Hewes were transported to SP Jamestown where they were processed.

Hewes and Senko were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph Court later in the month to answer the charges.
