A 30-year-old Erie, PA woman was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on October 12, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

According to New York State Troopers, officers pulled over a vehicle on I-86 in Randolph for speeding and while speaking to the occupants, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle and its occupants, passenger Jasmine Buttray was found to be in possession of marijuana concealed in a newspaper clipping. Buttray was issued an appearance ticket and the driver was issued a speeding ticket.

Buttray is scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph Court later in the month.
