GROVE CITY, P.A. — Buffalo State and host Grove City battled to an even scoreless deadlock through 90 minutes of play before thunderstorms rolled in and prompted the game to officially end as a regulation 0-0 draw.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Freshman Dylan Guarino (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) made six saves for his second shutout in as many career starts. 
  • Buffalo State had just 13 field players in action versus 20 who saw action for Grove City, but the thin Bengals’ squad kept pace throughout the contest.  Grove City held a narrow 14-13 advantage in shots with each team directing six on goal.

 
FOR THE FOES

  • Caleb Carson finished with five stops in goal for Grove City.
