A 26-year-old Florida man was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on September 26, 2018 following a report of a belligerent person.
Troopers responding to an unwanted person complaint at the 7-Eleven convenience store in the town of Allegany discovered Kevin A. Potter to be in possession of a pistol for which he did not have a permit and a small quantity of marijuana and associated paraphernalia.
Potter was arrested and arraigned in Allegany Town Court. He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail and was due to appear in Allegany Town Court later that night.
