On September 20, 2018, the New York State Police in Allegany County and the New York State Liquor Authority conducted an underage enforcement detail at 13 establishments that resulted in 2 arrests. The following people were arrested under the New York Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, Section 65- Prohibited sale to a person under the age of 21:
Denise L. Doran, 38, of Wellsville, an employee of Crosbys on Main Street in Wellsville was issued an appearance ticket for Wellsville Village Court returnable at a later date.
Allen R. Dannheim, 72, of Bolivar, an employee of Bolivar Spirits and Wine in Bolivar was issued an appearance ticket for Bolivar Village Court returnable at a later date.
