LEWISTON, N.Y. — The Niagara women’s golf team defeated La Salle in a dual match on Saturday, 325 (+37)-328 (+40).
Sarah Godfrey led the Purple Eagles, carding an 80 (+8). She finished in second place.
Daniella Hopper finished tied for third place with a score of 81 (+9).
Susan Leone and Sydney Shaw finished tied for fifth place. They each carded an 82 (+10).
Samantha Bernardo took ninth place with a score of 89 (+17).
Allison Emborsky, who competed as an individual, shot 107 (+35) and finished in 11th place.
The Purple Eagles hit the course next Sept. 24-25 at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational, hosted by Oakland University in Rochester, Mich.
