BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Bulls return to action this Friday for the annual UB Stampede Invitational after a strong showing at the Toledo Rockets Invite which saw the UB men finish in second place overall and the UB women claim fourth.

Leading the way for the Bulls men’s team in the opening meet was junior Caleb Covell, who collected an individual victory in the men’s 6k race clocking in at 18:33.00 on his way to MAC runner of the week honors. Sophomore Thomas Flannery had a strong showing for UB as well, placing ninth in 19:01.80 while Benjamin Cardamone took 10th place with a time of 19:04.90.

The Bulls will look to continue the momentum tomorrow as they are set to face California (PA), McMaster, Duquesne, Colgate, Canisius, Waterloo, Cornell, Vermont (women only) and Connecticut (women only).
