About the Siena College Invitational
  • In 2016, Siena hosted its first cross country meet in over two decades when it challenged local rivals RPI, UAlbany and Union. In 2017, The College of Saint Rose, Sage College of Albany, SUNY Adirondack and Union were invited to compete. Both races were considered short courses, as both the men and women ran a 4k.
  • This year, the meet will expand in size and prestige. The men will run an 8k while the women run a 5k, and Fairfield, Marist, Monmouth, Quinnipiac and Rider will be the other MAAC schools in attendance.
