BUFFALO, N.Y. — Canisius senior Siobhan Quinn was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Female Runner of the Week Wednesday.
The Rochester, N.Y., product took home her fourth consecutive Little Three individual title, becoming the first female runner to win four-straight in Little Three history. Her time of 17:50.35 boosted the Golden Griffins to their fifth-straight Little Three Championship title.
“There are some outstanding teams and outstanding individuals in the MAAC this year,” head coach Nate Hucklesaid. “For Siobhan to come away with this honor in the first week of the season is exceptional and we are really proud of her.”
Canisius continues their season on Sept. 14 at the National Catholic Championship in South Bend, Ind. while select members of the team will take part in the University at Buffalo Stampede.
