Three Buffalo residents were charged with Grand Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th, and Conspiracy 5th on August 19, 2018 following a shoplifting incident.
According to New York State Troopers, officers responded to a report of a larceny of approximately $2,000.00 worth of merchandise from Victoria’s Secret in the Eastern Hills Mall. Store employees provided the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle. A short time later, Cheektowaga PD observed the vehicle on SR 33 in Cheektowaga. The vehicle was stopped and the three occupants, Shawndrina Hicks, Michelle Brown, and Rickita Latham were found to be in possession of the Victoria’s Secret merchandise, as well as other stolen merchandise and a specially designed purse for shoplifting.
Latham was wanted by NY Department of Corrections on a parole violation warrant.
All three were arraigned in Clarence Court and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $500, $25,000 and $25,000 bail, respectively.
