(Robert Kirkham/Buffalo News)WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The Mayer Brothers Cider Mill and Bakery in West Seneca is open from late summer to the mid-fall season, for those seeking locally made cider, baked goods and maple syrup.

The 166-year-old family-owned business opened for the season on Aug. 8 and will remain open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Nov. 30, according to the cider mill’s website, mayersbrother.com.

Locally, more than 10,000 people a week visit the historic cider mill and bakery, which is located at the corner of Seneca Creek and Transit roads.

During the fall season, Mayer Brothers employs more than 200 people.
