A 20 year old Randolph man was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on August 5, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

According to New York State Troopers, Dylan Dowiasz was pulled over on Main Street in Randolph for several traffic violations and while speaking to Dowiasz, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Dowiasz and his vehicle revealed a bag containing marijuana, a marijuana smoking device, a grinder containing marijuana residue and multiple pills in tablet and capsule forms, all determined to be Adderal, a controlled substance for which Dowiasz did not have a prescription. Dowiasz was placed under arrest, transported to SP Jamestown and processed.

Dowiasz was released with appearance tickets and traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph Court later in the month to answer the charges.
