Marian A. Nugent, 73, entered into rest on August 3, 2018.  Born in Buffalo on May 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Loretta Weinholtz Nugent.  Born and raised in South Buffalo, proud of her Irish German heritage, often boasting of her history growing up in the old 1st Ward, Cobblestone District.  Marian was a true Buffalo sports fan, always supporting the Bills and Sabres.  She will not only be remembered for her love and devotion to friends and family, but also for her humor and way of telling a story to keep all entertained and also for putting others above herself.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Robert) Drake; grandmother of Nicole (John) Kay, Jacquelynne (Chad Zuchowski) Hackmer, Kelsey (John Carnes) Hackmer, Abby Drake and the late William Hackmer Jr.; great grandmother of Cameron, Jaxson, Hailey, Chad, Kayli, Kaleb and Jennavieve.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her extended family Rose and Kathy Kushniruk and her companion, Rusty.  Beside her grandson, Marian is predeceased by her siblings, Loretta “Sissy” DiChristopher, John Nugent and Jeremiah “Jerry” Nugent.
Friends may call on Wednesday August 8th, 4-8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 9th at 10 AM in All Saints RC Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
