A 33 year old Rochester man was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on July 30, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.
According to New York State Troopers, Johnny Mays was pulled over on Route 60 in Jamestown for a traffic violation and while speaking to Mays, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Mays and his vehicle revealed a marijuana cigarette and a jar containing two grams of marijuana.
Mays was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court next month.
