The Amherst Town Board has a 4:00 p.m. work session at Town Hall on Monday. This is where important matters are discussed. These important subjects are usually put on the Consent Agenda for the 7:00 p.m. meeting. The Consent Agenda means there is no public discussion on these important maters which affect our town.
The reason these matters are not discussed at the night’s 7:00 p.m. meetings is that the Town Board says this would make the meeting longer. That always amazes me. Why did they run to be on the Town Board besides the pay? They obviously weren’t expecting to be doing the Town’s business or they wouldn’t complain about how long the meeting might last.
At tomorrow’s 7:00 p.m. Town Board meeting you can ask this board why Dal Giulaini is still on the Town’s Planning Board when his term expired January 1, 2017. This is a man whose record of voting for developers is almost 100% “yes” to whatever they want.
He isn’t a gentleman but a man who willingly breaks the rules of our Town with the permission of our Town Board.
Please come to our Town Board meeting at 7:00 p.m. and speak out on any subject you feel has been ignored, or to say thank you for something they did for you.
