A 30 year old Yorkshire woman was charged with petit larceny on July 27, 2018 following a call to police for a workplace incident.
According to New York State Troopers, officers were dispatched to the Seven-Eleven store in Yorkshire for a complaint of an employee completing an unauthorized transaction. Investigation revealed that Michelle L. Preston had completed an unauthorized refund transaction and pocketed the cash.
Preston was transported and processed at SP Machias and issued tickets returnable to the Town of Yorkshire in August 2018.
